Dear hospital patients and visitors,

We would like to inform you that as of 1 March 2017, the MUH has changed the fees for entering the hospital premises, which is now set at CZK 30 for every 30 minutes (the price includes VAT). At the same time, the MUH offers the following time zone discounts:

Discounted parking fees in the MUH in individual time zones

  • TIME ZONE I: from 6.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m., parking is free when leaving the hospital premises within 60 minutes (1 hour)
  • TIME ZONE II: from 16.00 to 21.00 hours, free parking when leaving the hospital premises within 180 minutes (3 hours)
  • TIME ZONE III: from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., free parking when leaving the hospital premises within 300 minutes (5 hours)

When exceeding the time for free parking in a given time zone, the fee is calculated from the time of entering the hospital premises at the standard rate of CZK 30/30 min.

The free parking cannot be transferred between time zones.

It is still valid that vehicles of disabled patients, with the appropriate marking placed in a visible place in the vehicle and with a disabled person’s ID card, are allowed free parking in the MUH’s grounds with no time limit.

Parking for the legal representatives (accompanying persons) of hospitalised children is available in the indoor carpark and inside the MUH, anywhere in those places designated for parking visitors’ and patients’ vehicles.

The attending physician will give the free parking application form to the legal guardian and fill it in for them.

Each time the legal guardian leaves the hospital premises, he/she will hand in the entry card to the fee collector and present a valid, completed form. On this basis, they will not be charged a fee for entering the MUH grounds.

A request for free parking on the premises for the legal guardian of a hospitalised child (only applies to the escort of the hospitalised child) can be issued by the doctor and is also valid in cases of special consideration (determined by the attending physician).

If the entry card is lost or damaged, the MUH imposes a one-off fine of CZK 1,000 (including VAT).
